Club Championships

For 2026

The Club Championships present an excellent opportunity to compete against yourself and against fellow club members.

The Committee has selected 12 races this year ranging from 5k to half marathon distance.

Awards are given out to top 3 male and female Striders, and respective age groups categories; senior, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70-74 and 75+.

The committee tries to make club championships as affordable as possible with 1 free race included, and focussing on other club races more than large commercial events.  The club is keen to support over clubs races across the county, as we rely on their support for our Lytchett 10 race.

To count you must run a minimum of 7 events to be considered for an award, with your best 7 results counting.  The fastest male/female in each race scores 50 points, the 2nd scores 49 and so on.

A special Fidelity award is presented to those Striders who complete all 12 races plus any marathon over the year, and all awards are presented at the annual awards evening held in late January.
