Our Club

Lytchett Manor Striders was formed in 1989 and has been  renowned ever since as a friendly and inclusive club, so no matter whether you’re a speedster looking for trophies, relatively new to running and progressing from couch-to-5K, or anywhere in between, everyone at the club looks forward to running, competing, and socialising with you, and to helping you to get the best out of your running, whatever your motivation to run is.

Our committee

As a club we elect a committee at our AGM, usually held in March.  The committee are all volunteers from the club’s membership, they meet regularly throughout the year to organise events and races, and to ensure that the club is run smoothly and compliantly.  If you want to be more involved in the club, and think you can help, please make yourself known to any of the committee, most of the roles are not that onerous.
