Welcome to Lytchett Manor Striders Running Club. We are based in and around the village of Lytchett Minster, near Poole, with training runs from Lytchett Minster School, Sandbanks and Poole Park, as well as other informal runs in the local area.
If you are thinking about joining us but are wanting to know more, come meet us with no obligation at one of our regular training runs, where you can meet our friendly members and enjoy a few runs before committing to a membership.
We have qualified run coaches and a large number of qualified run leaders who can help you enjoy and progress your running, no matter your level. Our membership runs from March, but you can join us at any point in the year.

Monthly club championship races. Test yourself by competing against other Striders once a month in orgnised races. Age group category winners are recognised and rewarded at the Club’s Annual awards evening
Club Membership
Membership runs from 1st March 2024 to 28th February 2025 - but you can join us at any point in the year.
Full Member – £35
Lytchett Manor Striders is an England Athletics affiliated running club. Standard membership includes affiliation with England Athletics, providing you with discounted entry to various road and trail running events, together with a host of other benefits and discounts. Second claim membership – £19
Second claim membership is available for runners who are affiliated with another running club, but wish to be associated with us.
Notes:
As with most running clubs, we ask that members refrain from entering our advertised races, such as the Lytchett 10 - and instead help us through volunteering at these events to deliver an amazing experience for the local running community.
