Welcome to the home of the Lytchett Manor Striders running club.

Founded in 1989, Lytchett Manor Striders is a small, social running club catering for all abilities. We are based in the village of Lytchett Minster, a few miles west of the English south coast town of Poole in the county of Dorset, UK.

Fancy Joining Us for a Run?

We meet on Thursdays at 7pm at the Lytchett Manor Sports Centre; there are several groups of different speeds, with runs usually between 6 and 10 miles. Showers are available and after the run we meet in the Clay Pipe in Sandford for a drink and chat.

Tuesday evening runs are either from The Sloop at Poole civic centre at 6:30pm for speed training sessions with a coach, or from the Sandbanks Hotel at 7pm for a run between 3 and 7 miles.

There are also runs organised ad-hoc - listen out at club nights or keep an eye on the news page for more details.

We also organise various social events, and an annual 10 mile road race - The Lytchett '10' - which takes place in February.

If you live in this part of England or will be visiting the area, we will be very pleased to let you join us on one (or more!) of our training runs. (There are some great benefits if you decide to become a member!)
